I have been trying to resolve the same disconnect problem. I usually make sure it is not something I have configured wrong first.

I wish there was a list of know problems with 7.1.5 that users can look

Is this a patch I can download?

I'm running on a Windows server, but I had the same problem with Windows Java

Subject: [NV-L] Netview Web console disconnect

Hi,

Our three WinXP Netview Tivoi Web Consoles are experiencing "Lost Connection
to Server" messages at random times, sometimes just one console, sometimes
all three, and we need to restart the console to get back into the system.
The X client consoles are fine. The web console java SW installed on these
PCs is from the original Netview 7.1.5 CD. The Netview 7.1.5 server is
zLinux SLES9 SP1. We didn't have any issues using Netview 7.1.4 SP4 before
the upgrade with the Web consoles.

Thanks.
