Hi ,
To add to what Blane had said .FW is not
required for TDW and also for SNMPV1/V2 .

Integration with TMR
The only advantage that I am aware of for
going the Framework route is for TDW or for SNMPv1/V2 collection. These
two need FW due to the RIM requirement to connect to a RDBMS. Otherwise,
leave it standalone – less mess…

NetView Discussions
Subject: [NV-L] Reg Netview
Integration with TMR
Hi,
What
is the basic advantage of Framework based Netview and Stand alone Netview. Now
i have installed Netview in windows using the setup.exe directly, the machine
in which i have installed is not a manage node. Now how can i integrate Netview
server with TMR.
Thanks & Regards
