If you have the 7.1.5 media, there should
be DB2 media with it. Or you can download it from Passport Advantage where
it should be part of the assembly for Netview 7.1.5

From my installation notes on a CentOS
vmware system:

DB2
UDB Enterprise Server Edition V8.2 for Linux for Intel 32-bit (English,
etc) (C58S8ML) 


FP14_MI00176.tar is fp14 for db2 8 for
linux on 32bit intel/amd x86 built on kernel 2.6 (vs 2.4)

Following the NV Quickstart Guide:
NV Quickstart says:
Install IBM DB2 Universal Database™
Server Edition version 8.2.1 with the latest fix pack to export data to
Tivoli Data
Warehouse from the SNMPv1 MIB Collector
(snmpCollect) or to use the SNMPv1/v2 SNMP Collector (nvcollectord),
which includes support for Counter64
datatypes. The DB2® product must be installed on the same system as the
Tivoli
NetView product.
To install the DB2 product, use the
appropriate DB2 UDB ESE V8.2.1 for Tivoli NetView V7.1.5 CD included with
the Tivoli NetView package.

The latest DB2 fix pack can be obtained
from the following Web site: http://www.ibm.com/software/data/db2/udb/support/downloadv8.html

Get the Readme separately - that's got the instructions. Get it as txt
if no browser.)
Remember your DB2 instance user ID and
password.

I am currently running the V1 collector (snmpCollect) but need to switch
to the V2 (snmpcollectord) to get 64 bit counters.

I tried the conversion string in doc but I thing I need the DB installed.

How do I do it and where is it located?
