Dear list,

I have been a subscriber for more than 10 years. At some point I did some contributions, but those last years I was quite passive.
However, I wanted to say goodbye, because today I did a last ovstop, and will unsubscribe from this list.
Thanks for everyone who did valuable contribitions with help me through this life with Netview.

For those interested, one and a half year ago, at the time IBM announced that 7.1.5 will be the last version of Netview, I started to look around if there was no other way to go. I identified 3 contenders for our next network management tool: IBM NetCool, HP OpenView and CA Spectrum. However Spectrum quickly won the contest. Today Spectrum is implemented to manage our MPLS network (about 1900 routers and switches managed), and I can say it is a huge step forward. Anyone interested can mail me with questions.

All the best to everyone
