Bill,

My expertise here is limited but snmpwalk and nmdemandpoll do not operate
the same way. snmpwalk uses getnext to traverse the ifTable while
nmdemandpoll uses a get for the exact ifIndex, or so I am told.
For example,
1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1..1 the last .1 here is the ifIndex, everything
before that is the ifTable.
./nl_snmper.c[1355] : recv_snmp: from xnet-fw1 (10.10.3.1) op = FORCED
req = SNMPStatus reqid = 1591341
./nl_snmpstate.c[2565] : Interface 10.10.3.1(index 1): No Admin/Oper
Status in ifTable

If the device responds in differently between a direct snmpget and an
snmpwalk, I think it is Cisco issue not a NetView one. Can you verify
this from the command line?
