The trapd.conf file on Windows does not support many of the fields found on
UNIX, so basically the answer is "no". And the rest of the underlying
syntax is different. I believe that trapd on Windows will not load your
UNIX file if you try to use it there.
NetView for Windows is not a clone of NetView for UNIX. The way events are
handled on Windows is completely different from the way they are handled or
UNIX because the folks who designed the Windows product wanted to store the
events in a MS ODBC database as soon as they were received. The Windows
event browser reads them from there.
There are no tools to "port" a NetView installation from UNIX to Windows
because any customer environment which required a UNIX platform (more
scalable server, larger database, more extensive GUI configuration, user
security) is not an environment where a Windows platform is a good choice.

Is there a way to copy trapd.conf from AIX NetView to windows NetView. I
have done lot of customization on AIX and just don't want to redo again on
Windows. Please help?
