NetView's snmpwalk is SNMPv1-only. It does not support Counter64, which is introduced in SNMPv2. Most SNMPv2 agents will not respond to an SNMPv1 request with Counter64 data.

If you have current code, NetView 7.1.5, then you can use the new snmp command (UNIX) or wsnmp command (Windows) to retrieve this variable. xnmbrowser2 should also retrieve it, but only with NetView 7.1.5. Before 7.1.5, xnmbrowser2 requested SNMPv2 OIDs, but in SNMPv1 format

[NV-L] SNMP v2 Browsing

NV users,

I have been trying to make this work for quite some time, so I have decided to try the list before going to the IBM support.
The problem is that I am having trouble collecting a SNMPv2 MIB information from a Switch. The variable is Counter64, that technically should work, right?
The OID is: .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.189.1.3.2.1.8.1.1

When I try to browse it using the xnmbrowser2 I receive the "no value(s) returned for query" message;
When I try to snmpwalk it (using Netview's snmpwalk) I receive
snmpwalk xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.189.1.3.2.1.8.1.1
no MIB objects contained under subtree.
But, if I snmpwalk it using the native snmpwalk, I can reach it:
snmpwalk.linux -v2c -c AAAAAA xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.189.1.3.2.1.8.1.1
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.189.1.3.2.1.8.1.1.65 = Counter64: 95599235177

Is anyone able to see what I am missing here?

Thanks a lot in advance,
