The web client in NetView V5.0 does not use NetView security. You must
login with a standard UNIX id. The web client in V5.1 will connect woth
NetView security but the current one does not.

Subject: Netview users access from a web browser

Hi all,
I'm trying to access TME10 Netview v5 from a web browser (Netscape

4.0x). I've set up Netview with security. When I access Netview from

a web browser appear a window where I have to write the USER_ID and

the PASSWORD.
How can I use netview users inside AIX users?
I'm trying:

        USER_ID: 'Netview_user','Netview_group'
        PASSWORD: *****

Thanks in advance

Santiago
