removing old netview software...

Is there a way to clean-up BROKEN Filesets?  And how long does this
normally take?

I am trying to install Nways Manager for AIX 1.2 onto an AIX 4.2.1
system and I have to remove some of the old components.

The following filesets are some that are giving me fits:

Last night, cml.8238 started the DEINSTALL and was still running this
morning?!  I ended up doing a CTRL+C to get out of the SMIT menu and
the result was a BROKEN status.
