NETIQUETTE- Please don't send personal mail to responders to this forum
unless specifically requested to send information off-line.

Reasons-

1. The value of the forum to subscribers is the answers they get to
their own questions, and also the answers to everybody else's questions,
which contribute to the database of information available. I think
everybody has a little corner of their hard disk where they tuck away
the juicy stuff for a rainy day.

2. If there's a real problem that doesn't get an answer on the forum,
you need to open a PMR. The pmr process creates documentation that can
be referenced by IBM support and by users.

3. None of the IBMers and Tivoliites who monitor and respond to the
forum have it as a job responsibility. If someone sends us a note and
we're out of town or too busy to check the forum mail, the question WILL
go unanswered, because nobody will read it.

4. If you already have a PMR opened and feel you aren't getting adequate
response, call IBM and escalate the PMR. Nothing gets fixed until
somebody knows it's broken.

Thanks.
Jim Kellock.
