At a minimum you must stop netmon and snmpCollect. If any process is writing to those databases at the time of backup, the backup will be worthless. So if you won't close the GUIs, then make sure the guy who has the map open reda-write is ot trying to customize it. James Shanks Tivoli (NetView for UNIX) L3 Support |
