Basically, no. NetView is a TCP/IP manager not a LAN Manager. The only
exception (so far) is that NetView V5.1
offers the (new) command nvwakeup, which will send the Wake-on-Lan "magic
packet" by broadcast or multicast to nodes on a particular subnet.

Hi all,
HP-Unix give the possibillity to test with the command "linkloop" the
Hardwareconnectivity in LAN via MAC-address (same the ping via
IP-address!).
Is there any similar command for AIX-Unix or NetView ?
