I need to correct myself for my previous question. I've found out that any IP address between 250-254 is in use on the Ethernet Interfaces so is the following a legal entry in the seedfile? *.*.*.25* Thanks, Eddie Hello, We've been running Netview 4.1 using a seedfile(we have specified a range in the seedfile so we only discover the nodes listed in the seedfile). Now we have a request to add new node discovery for routers only. Our standard is to have xxx.xxx.xxx.254 be the ethernet interface for the router. Will the following entry in the seedfile work to accomplish this?? *.*.*.254 Or is there a better way to do this? Thanks in advance. Eddie |
