Have you Hidden Symbols in Web-Map ?
The Java-GUI can't load that. This Problem is in NetView V.5.0.

Betreff: Web Access - Graphical Display

 ----------------------------------------

Hello everybody,

I do have a problem with the web access, esp. graphical display.

AIX 4.1.5, NetView 5.0; Root w/ r/w access

OS/2 Netscape 2.02 (Java 1.1.6): Enter->Submaps->A message informing me
that I "started to download a file of type:
multipart/x-mixed-replace"->Cancel-> View graphics->"Loading symbols for
root"->Display->IP Internet->View->"Loading Symbols for IP
Internet"........ still waiting to complete....

OS/2 Netscape 4.04 (Java 1.1.6): Enter->Submaps->View graphics->"Loading
symbols for root"->Display->IP Internet->View->"Loading Symbols for IP
Internet"........ still waiting to complete....

NT 4.0 SP3 Netscape 3.01: Enter->Submaps->View graphics->"Loading symbols
for root"->Display->IP Internet->View->"Loading Symbols for IP
Internet"........ still waiting to complete....

Generally speaking: as long as I try to access "IP Internet" I can wait
forever...
If I try to access Submap "Europa", then "Deutschland", then "Schiltach"
everything works (on all plattforms!). In "Schiltach" I won't see the
symbols though (on any plattform!). Opening "Token Ring - 10.1."
(resulting
in an URL ending with "Segment1") I get undefined behaviour - Timeouts -
General Application Faults.

Netscape-"Reload" or Netscape-"Back" won't re-show what I've seen before
 -
nor do the links in the header line!

What is wrong?
