Scott,

The problem with the zero length file has been fixed.  The problem I'm
having is
compiling third party bitmaps (CiscoWorks, SPMA, etc.) for use with the Web
Interface.
When the command "ovw -webconfig" is run this compiles the bitmaps from
"/usr/OV/bitmaps/C" to
"/usr/OV/web/httpd/htdocs/TME10/Netview/images/symbols/*.gif"

This is a fix that was in the release notes for 5.1,   see IX78482 for
details.

Check for a zero length file in /usr/OV/bitmaps/C/  I think it is
wsc1600.20.m
or .p  Whatever the zero length file is, delete them all:
    # rm wsc1600*   for example.  This is a file installed by ciscoworks.
