I have come across TDF files when working with HP OpenView Professional. It
is the Trap Definition File, and is the way that traps are defined and
stored for that product.

If you are using Netwiev, then the trap definitions should get loaded when
you load the mib's for backup exec. The TDF file shouldnt be required.

Hope this helps

Jeff

Subject: Loading a .TDF file into NetviewAix

Hi
I received a BKUPEXEC.TDF file from Seagate and they require that I load
it.
Please could somebody tell me how to load this File ?
(It contains trap definitions and an Enterprise id for Seagate).
I am running Netview 4.1.2 and AIX 4.1.5
Thanks
Vynita Pretorius
