Hi ! When Netmon polling is active on several routers / interfaces in a tree structure, a link failure on the closest (to Netview) link ends up with several 'link down' (and node down) events. Is there any general approach to suppress the events / traps that are a result of the closest link failure. The logical relation are saved in the OV database, but can that information be used in some way to filter out those events ? All ideas are welcome /Erik Erik Nilsson Network Management tcpip AB erik@netman.se |
