I'm having a couple Nways (1.2.2) problems...hoping some fellow Nways users
or IBM'ers can point me in the right direction:
First, a couple of daemons will not start: ahmdbserver (last message:
Process complete, exit status: exit(99) ), NCMPserver (exit status: exit(1)
), and rabmEventServer (PID: (never run) ) all fail to start. I'm not sure
exactly what these do - the basic functionality of NWAYS as an element
manager is in tact - but I'd like to see them running properly.
Second, I cannot get web browser access to the java manageable devices.
I've attempted with netscape v3 and v4, along with IE v3 & v4. I'm getting
2 different errors - one says Applet can't start: error:
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: ibm/nways/jdm/BrowserApplet; the other one
says Applet ... can't start: class ... got a security violation.
Anyone seen these errors? Have any suggestions? Any pointers would be
appreciated!
