Hello,
you may want to try to unset LIBPATH that has been set in the
/etc/Tivoli/setup_env.sh script. I have had the problem, and unsetting this
variable had solved it for me.

Subject: login problem with CDE
Hi folks,
I've just installed Tivoli framework 3.6 and Tivoli Netview 5.1 and
every went fine
but when I put the /etc/Tivoli/setup_env.sh scipt file in my .profile
I'm not able to log in anymore.
I have the login prompt but after I type my username and my password I
have the CDE blue
screen and after the session is reset and i'm back to the login prompt.
Here's what I put in my .profile
----------
. /etc/Tivoli/setup_env.sh
^
PATH="$PATH:/usr/local/bin:/usr/OV/bin"
export PATH=$PATH
export EDITOR=vi
----------
I'm running Tivoli on a 43P with AIX 4.2.1
Can someone help me with this problem?
thanks in advance
SR
