Cannot ping !!!

Hi all,

I just moved my rs6000 to another ring, but the same subnet though, thus
the same IP address. Nevertheless, I can't ping it from some of my other
rs6000s. My network specialist says it has to do with Source routing
being disabled and that it has to be enabled. Has anyone experienced
something like this ? Can anyone tell me what to do ?
