     I don't think this is possible. NetView lost DB compatibility with NNM  
     after version 3.1/3.31. On other areas they are still pretty close  
     (e.g. LRF, ARF, API) but new fields has been added to the database for  
     newer versions. I don't know if any third party map handling program  
     could do it. I was thinking of RoboMap from Onion Peel. Not sure  
     though if it´s available for NetView.

Maybe, but it has never been tested by NetView, so you would be on your own
if you try it, and no one I know of can tell you if you will have problems
later.

Hello,

A customer currently has a large HP Openview 5.x database but, they want
to implement NetView 5.1 in the near future. Can the database from HP
Openview be migrated over to NetView 5.1.
