Hello all, This one's been bugging me for quite a while now, so I thought I'd finally ask :-).... For NetView 5.1 and 5.0 (and possibly before that), the entries in oid_to_type for the 3.2 and 4.1 AIX agents appear as follows: 1.3.6.1.4.1.2.3.1.2.1.1.2:IBM:IBM RS/6000:50 # SNMP agaent for AIX 3.2 1.3.6.1.4.1.2.3.1.2.1.1.3:IBM:IBM RS/6000 4.1:50 # SNMP agent for AIX 4.1 My question is: What does the "50" mean in the topology attribute field? Thanks! Scott Scott McCambly AIX/NetView/ADSM Specialist - Unopsys Inc. Ottawa, Ontario, Canada (613)799-9269 |
