I do not think so. If trapd just logs incoming events, then he does not forward 
them to nvcorrd, the
less to nvserverd. If nvserverd does not receive them, they cannot get into the 
Event Server in a
normal fashion. This is valid for using nvserverd adapter and I think the same 
is true for
tecad_nv6k for this adapter registers with trapd and is another trap receiver.

However, as I perceive it you can have a specific event being logged only and 
yet forwarded to TEC.
Create an action executed by ovactiond upon receiving a trap that is but logged 
(ovactiond will work
as I have seen). The action would be wpostemsg (or postemsg) so that you will 
get the event as it is
or as an event of a different class, source, etc. into the TEC db with varbind 
in the desired slots.
