Hi, My company has deployed several NetView 4.1E installations under DEC UNIX 4.0d in the field. One of our customers needs to dial a "#" to successfully user their paging service, but we cannot get it to work. I am not directly involved in this project, but I think that the "#" is interpreted as a comment character in some script, and therefore it is ignored along with the rest of the line. Anybody know of a solution? Hubert van Roosmalen. P.S. Yes, version 4.1E is old, but the step towards version 5.1 will require quite some work because of the customization we have done, and our official supplier is unwilling or unable to send us the upgrade to 4.1G or 4.1H. |
