     That's exactly what I mean; you can run a ovtopofix -U to update the
     times and get the object onto the map.  You can find the complete
     instructions on how to display a node on pages 2-5 through 2-7 in the
     NetView Diagnosis Guide.  This only works if the object is in the
     topology database.

Thanks for such a fast reply.
Sad news though. We have only just moved to 5.1 and I thought
5.0 was buggy enough.

What exactly do you mean by map maintenance?
Is that the same as ovtopofix?
