Here's what I did last year when I changed the IP address of my NV svr :
cd /usr/OV/service
run ./reset_ci
run "xnmsnmpconf -clearCache"
Check /etc/snmpd.conf to be sure the address is correct
run "refresh -s snmpd"
run "ovstart"
run "ovw -fields"
run "ovw -config"
run "ovw -verify"
It worked OK for me.
If U have third party apps (CiscoWorks, ....) there are changes to be
done too.
