We are going to be bringing TMNC (a.k.a. SMARTS IPFM by Tivoli) in for an
evaluation early in March. We've put together an eval criteria document and
will be eval'ing it on an RS6000 platform running NV5.1 and interfacing with a
TEC 3.6 test server.

I was wondering if anyone on this list has already gone through an evaluation of
this product. If so, I'd be interested to know what you thought. Particularly
I'd like to know what features you found effective and what features were
"wanting" from your perspective. If there are any things that you think we
should particularly be sure to analyze carefully, that would be of interest
also.

Also, is anyone on this list using TMNC in a medium - large (8,000+ netview
objects) production network? I'm curious about the RS600 AIX system size and
the performance impact of TMNC.

Thanks,

Eric Miner
