Hello list !!

Is anyone out there using APM ? What experiences have you had

I've been playing about with it this afternoon on our test
server...(Friday afternoon..weekend coming along ...have a wee play..!
).
I set up a very simple Threshold condition (monitor CPU busy and send
trap if 15min Avg > 60%).

I distributed the Policy and the CPU on my NetView server jammed up at
the 100 % mark!

I confess this is a *testing* server so there is all sorts of strange
stuff going on (Model F50, 512MB AIX v4.2.1 & NetView v4.1.2), though
normally it just ticks over at 30% CPU.

Does anyone have any experiences with APM that they're willing to talk
about ?
