aka Java 2? Just AIX 4.3.x currently, as I understand things from the
IBM Java site:

and more specifically:

(JDK v2 is still in beta). Eventually 4.2.x will be tested too, they say.
JDK 1.1.6 works ok on AIX 4.2.1, subject to applying the relevent libc
patch (as documented)
