Since the Optivity NMS 8.x CD for NetView doesn't contain any binaries
compiled under Solaris, this would be a very difficult task.  You'd have to
somehow get the Solaris binaries from the SDM or NNM disk and copy them
onto your Solaris box.  You'd then have to manually convert the NetView
related files from the AIX disk.  Plus, you wouldn't have any NetView
support binaries like ovSync.

I've not heard of this being done.  Best to wait for NMS 9.0.
