For the icons you need to update oid_to_sym. HP printers are very well
represented in oid_to_sym for NNM. You will have to make the same
entries in your oid_to_sym file for NetView.

so many HP printers but in TIVOLI all printers show with generic icon.

Look at HPoid2type. Note that this file i not preserved during
migration from one version of NNM to the other. Updates should be made
to the "normal" oid_to_type.

Hi to all
there is no entry in the oid_to_type file for HP printers. I can able to see
all HP printers in my local subnet. How did they manage it? Is there any
other place also to put the sysObjectID of those printers which you want to
dicover.
any clue...
