Nope, The NetView for NT box itself must have a fixed address. We had this
issue with Tivoli IT ourselves, after they implemented DHCP as the
standard. All of us with NetView for NT had to retain our static
addresses.

Subject: Does Netview for NT require a static IP address?
I'm trying to get some practice with the NT product (about time..) and I'm
wondering
if it is possible for me to use a DHCP address, with dynamic DNS. I know I
can't get
away with this on AIX, but maybe on NT? Any special configuration items I
need to
know about when doing it this way?
Cordially,
