Forgot to mention that. Yes, Tivoli was just installed to run NetView, I just took all the defaults. I'm trying to start the Tivoli GUI as root (with the display exported to my machine). All other X appls work fine (I also have CiscoWorks and Optivity/NMS installed). I ran the . /etc/Tivoli/setup_env.sh to source the appropriate variables. ________________________________________

I'm not able to start the Tivoli GUI on machine running Tivoli 3.6, NetView
The oserv daemin is running fine: root@nv6000:/ >ps -ef | grep oserv
odadmin odlist shows: root@nv6000:/ >odadmin odlist
IP address 172.16.250.22 and hostname nv6000 are correct for this box.
Nothing has changed recently as far as the Tivoli framework is concerned,
