Hello All:
I would like you help me with this:
I need to extract the routers topology tree, I have thought to make an
script that uses traceroute to obtain the tree, but I wonder if there is
any way to obtain the tree from the Netview (The Netview know the
topology).
I have Netview 5.1 with aix 4.21.
I made an example, supose that we have this topology :
N----A----B----C-Lc-Sc
| |----D-Ld-Sd
|
|----E----F-Lf-Sf
| |-Le-Se
|
G-Lg-Sg
Where A,B,C,D,E,F are routers; Sx = Server x; Lx = Lan x; and N =
Netview.
I like to obtain the topology tree in this way:
>From A depends: B,E,G
>From B depends: C,D
>From C depends: Sc
>From D depends: Sd
>From E depends: F,Se
>From F depends: Sf
>From G depends: Sg
Any idea will be apprecited.
Thanks and regards,
Sergio Cardona.
