I don't know whom you are talking to in Support but I'd call them back and
ask for the efix.
This was dealt with in APAR PJ26332. There should be an efix available in
the form of a new trapd

But your problem has nothing to do with Todd's, so far as I know. We only
dealt with forwarding events, not trapd stopping.
And PJ26332 doesn't touch netmon.

But Todd should call Support as well and see if they know of a fix or if
they can reproduce the problem. If they can, we'll fix it.
But he will have to tell them about it and let them gather some doc first.

We have upgraded our NV from 5.0a to 5.1 and then to 5.11. In both the lab
and in production we ran into a problem with trapd. Our problem is that it
does not send all alerts over to other applications, i.e. tecad_nv6k - TEC
adapter. Some alerts go, generic SNMP and events generated with the
'event' command, but all others do not.

We have an open PMR on the problem and have been waiting for a fix for
about 6 weeks. No word on when it is going to be available. Support does
recognize that this is a problem with trapd.

Is this version causing problems with Trapd and Netmon frequently stopping
for no reason? Is Tivoli working on this ?
