The TMR server knows about the Netview Server, as it is
a managed node of that TMR, right? So you need to tell the
TMR server about the change. There are detailed instructions
for doing this in the Framework manual, used to be chapter 10.
(Troubleshooting?)
It involves the odadmin odlist command. You are supposed to
tell the TMR about it before you do it, but there are instructions in
there for handling it after the fact as well. Just look up the
instructions for changing the IP address of a Managed Node.
The reset_ci requirement is strictly for Netview, and you will
also have the usual steps for changing the address from an
AIX point of view. Use the Framework Admin Guide as your
reference. You probably won't get detailed instructions on
this forum because it is a kind of complicated process and it
is well documented in the manuals.

Hello All.

I have a Netview 5.1 Server, but it is separate from the Framework (TMR
Server). What must be done on each side. I recall that a reset_ci is
required for the Netview Server but what about the TMR Server ??

Any ideas ??

Sincerely,

Gord Michaels.
