cannot connect to the database

I am getting this message in the nv6000.log.

Fatal OVW error: Cannot connect to database
ipmapBailout called from nl_ipmap.C[223]

I ran netfmt -f nettl.LOG00 and here is an extract of that output:

They are all over this log. I have also noticed that commands setup to run when
alerts
are received does not. I followed the "Always Try this" , documented in
Diagnosis Guide, procedure but this did not resolve all the issues.

Any advice will be appreciated.
