Event log? Which do you mean, in the events window or in trapd.log? Or
the ovevent.log?
If you mean the events window, do you have any rulesets running out of the
file /usr/OV/conf/ESE.automation?
If so, what do they do?

Sometimes Netview stops displaying events in the eventlog, this has happend
several time for me and all i have to do to is restart the GUI.
AIX 4.3.2
