It depends on whether you are talking about NT or UNIX.

For NT the answer is NO, but if you want to use any integration with Tivoli
the answer is YES.

For UNIX the answer is always YES.

The Netview server doesn't have to be a managed node right ?

So, I do not have to place it on the TMR Server ?? Just the Netview Server
and the Clients after I make them managed nodes?
