You'll have to get a command-line email utility that runs on NT and invoke it from within the event automated action, or write a batch file/perl script and call that from the event. I've used BLAT, but there are others available - check www.winfiles.com for some shareware & freeware tools. -----Original Message----- From: Discussion of IBM NetView and POLYCENTER Manager on NetView [mailto:NV-L@UCSBVM.UCSB.EDU]On Behalf Of Chris Yates Sent: Monday, July 12, 1999 9:18 AM To: NV-L@UCSBVM.UCSB.EDU Subject: E-mail trap information in NT? I saw a recent solution posted on how to send a trap as an e-mail from NetView if one has Unix. How is this typically done on the NT platform? Chris Yates Network Engineer J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc |
