Jane,
I can't answer all of your question, but I can answer
question number 4. Tivoli Manager for Network
Connectivity (TFNC) is the Smarts Incharge product.
The event class it creates in the TEC is still named
Incharge. We have it installed on a Netview for NT
box forwarding events to a TEC on AIX. We are also
running version 1.01 of TFNC, version 1.0 on NT had a
huge memory leak. So far, I have been please with
it's functionality and relatively painless
installation.
