ovstatus monitoring

Hello,
Has anyone utilized disk sentry to monitor netview daemons with ovstatus. If
ovstatus reports back that one of the daemons is down, we would like disk
sentry to send an alert. Has anyone written a perl or ksh script to report
back the status to disk sentry.
