Well, I only know a little about this, but I believe that snmpCollect is
not involved with MLMs at all. That is, it does not offload collecting
to MLMs. You have to configure the MLMs to do the collecting directly,
or via the APM. MLM then stores data in a different format than does
snmpCollect, and stores it under /var/adm/smv2 somewhere (set
in your configuration of the MLM). There is a command to convert
this data to the same format as snmpCollect uses, and I think it
is smconvert. There is probably a man page for it. After the conversion
you could use snmpColDump on it.

When using a mid-level manager (MLM) is the snmpCollect data it gathers
stored on the MLM or back on the main management station?  If it is on the
MLM can snmpColDump be run on the MLM to extract the collected data?
