Larry,
1) You can turn on trap-forwarding to have the trap go somewhere else.
2) You can definitely call nvpage.
3) You can also send mail. We use the "blat" utility to do this
(I've never used NET SEND).
Note:
Just make sure you specify complete path-names for programs
that you specify, and if you use perl, be sure to have the command
executed like "perl d:\\usr\\local\\bin\\myCmd.pl". You have to use
double backslashes whten specifying the path.

Subject: Multiple Notification Routes With TRAPs
[ NETVIEW FOR NT ]
Is there a way to perform multiple notifications of the same TRAP event?
Can a TRAP be cloned, then modified?
Example:
I receive a trap from ROUTER1 that FRAME RELAY is down.
Can I use NVPAGE, MAILTO and NET SEND to initiate three different
notification routes for this same TRAP event? (Using: Run This Command When
The Trap Is Received)
Any ideas will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Larry
