I know that the events which MLM sends to report that the status
of a node has changed is Log Only (or maybe Don't Log or Display),
and then netmon generates another event (inferface up, etc) so that
it will appear that netmon found out about the change in the usual
way. If you change the MLM events to show, you will have redundant
information in the display. So I only make that change when I am
investigating a problem.

Many traps are by default "Log Only". You can configure this yourself with
Event Configuration (run xnmtrap from the command line as root, select first the
enterprise, then the specific trap you want, then click "Modify". ) You will
see a box which says "Event Category". You click on the box, which now contains
the words "Log Only" to see your other choices and select one closest to what
the trap is about. When you click "OK", first on the "Modify Event" panel and
then on the Event Configuration dialog window, this change is made to
trapd.conf, and the next time such a trap comes in, it will be displayed.

The trap can only be appeared in the trapd.log, but not in Netview Event
Cards ( No any filter have been implemented ).
Why there are missing ? Is there any special setting should be needed ?
