This is an Oracle problem and not a NetView one. It is their agent which will
have to populate the MIB. Doesn't sound to me like it is running or running
correctly. I would start by checking Oracle doc on this and if that fails, talk
to them.

AIX 4.3.2
Netview 5.1.1
MIB Oracle loaded
I want to know the steps that I ought to do to get MIB variables from
Oracle Database (oraDbMIB object-id 1.3.6.4.1.111.4)
installed on AIX Risc Machine.
From the AIX Risc Machine I succesfully get mib-2 variables but no
Oracle MIBs
The response from the system is 'Agent failure occured' the first time I
try to get them then (from the second time on)
I get the response 'The variable does not exist or is read only'.
Shall I modify snmpd.conf with a new smux entry?
How about the object-id and password for this new smux entry ?
Thank you in advance
