Juan -
Well, it sounds like the mibloader loaded, or at least thinks it loaded, your
MIB. Are you sure it should have updated ibmProducts and not something under
mgmt.mib2 ?

James,
I'm running TME10 NetView v5 on AIX 4.2.1. I don't get any error but no
leaves appear under ibm.ibmProd in MIB tree. I put the MIB file in
/usr/OV/snmp_mibs/ and loaded it from GUI.
Regards,
Juan.

I don't think these IMPORTS are the problem. They seem to be very standard SNMP
V1 MIB constructs which the loader should recognize. What error are you
getting and what level f NetView code are you getting it on?

Subject: IBM MIBs
Hi all,
when trying to load a new MIB file in my NetView for AIX I find in the
first lines the following:
IMPORTS
enterprises, IpAddress, Counter
FROM RFC1155-SMI
OBJECT-TYPE
FROM RFC-1212;
so, do I need the RFC1155-SMI and RFC-1212 MIB files? I think I do because I
can't load the new MIB file successfully.
Thanks,
Juan.
