This is a trap from a Bay Networks device.
Look at the Bay MIBs for your switch (presumably a 281X ) and load them
into NV.
The OIDs you list are:
private.enterprises.synoptics(45).products(1).s3SnmpAgent(2).s3AgentSw(1).s3
AgentUnAuthIp(12)
private.enterprises.synoptics(45).products(1).s3SnmpAgent(2).s3AgentNetProto
col(2).s3AgentIpxProtocol(2).s3AgentUnAuthIpx(3)
private.enterprises.synoptics(45).products(1).s3SnmpAgent(2).s3AgentSw(1).s3
AgentUnAuthComm(13)
These three variables are respectively the:
IP address of the last station attempting SNMP access using an incorrect
community string
IPX address of the last station attempting SNMP access using an incorrect
community string
the incorrect community string
Try SNMP Gets on these MIB variables and see if they return non zero
values. (You can do it with the OIDs without loading the MIBs or, after
loading the Bay MIBs, you can use their symbolic names in the MIB browser)
