The Release Notes for NetView for NT clearly state 6.5 as the supported pre-req.

Subject: SQL Server and NetView for NT.
Hi All
Currently I am implimenting a NetView on NT configuration for a client and
wish to use SQL server as my database product. Does NetView on NT support
V6.0, V6.5, or V7.0 of MS' SQL server product.
And if 7.0 is not available does anyone have a time frame on when NetView
for NT will be supporting this version of SQL
