Bob,
I can't tell you anything, but I don't know what parts may
or may not fail.
I assume V6 will be the 1st "certified" version though
(i.e. somebody actually tested it for Y2000).

Hi Gary,

Can you (or anyone else) summarize in what way(s) the current
version of NetView fails on Win2K (RC2)...?

Fair enough...although I've found very few NT4/SP4/5/6 apps
that fail to run "as is" on Win2K (RC2)...actually, I haven't
found any, but of course I've only tested a very small subset
of available apps (and I don't have NetView for NT). Also,
I have heard that RC3 includes only modest changes over RC2
and will go out to an even more limited set of beta testers
before final release to manufacturing for the Feb 17 ship
date. ("RC" means "Release Candidate" for those who don't
follow MS beta jargon.) So, from that, I would expect RC2
to be a fairly stable test platform for app compatibility
with the coming commercial release of Win2K.
Thanks,
Cordially,
